Parochial Church ss. mm.Cornelio e Cipriano Chiesa Parrochiale ss. mm.Cornelio e Cipriano
Parochial church 'SS. Cornelio and Cipriano' was planned from the arch. Caslini di Milano in the 1739 and construction, risen in part on the area occupied from the ancient parish, was finished in 1778. In 1830 it came restored and decorated, while in 1842, thanks to the bequests of Donna Antonia Albuzi, it came constructed the greater altar. In 1908 it came realized, for will of the parish priest don Luigi Oltolina, the cove of the Nail head of Lourdes; the women from Cerro Maggiore donated the statue of the Madonna while the men donated one new cross of wood, equipped of silver sheets. The church then was widened to the end of years sixty for wanting of the parish priest don Vittorio Branca.

Church of the Boretta
Also planned from the arch. Caslini, came begun in 1758 and finished sixteen later years. Of octagonal shape, it introduces typical baroque lineages; its name derives from the fact that it came erected on a called field Boretta (from the name of its owner). In passed to the rivalry between the parochial church and the church of the Boretta it was caused from the fact that this last one was trained from detached confraternity  from one of the SS. Chiesa dei Frati CappucciniIn XVI the century the rich merchant Pompeo Legnano, after having made the small Church dedicated to the Visitazione, tried a way in order to invest the own substances.  At the same time the Cappuccini friars wished that Cerro Maggiore became place of support for their work. Therefore, to the participation of the notary public Antonio Rinaldi to the friars great and legacy, thanks friend Legnano merchant, had beginning, in 1583, the construction of the convent. Between the 1627 and 1630 convent of Cerro Maggiore it was resisted from Padre Sempliciano from Milan, of the noble Visconti family. The convent possessed a library with the works father hall, beyond to volumes of history and ascetic authors and acted as from point of reference to the most resupplied from Milan conventuali libraries of S.
