Rho is a large center placed to 14 km from north west of Milan, its extension is on a surface of kmq 22.39, and m. 158 over the sea level. 51,858 are the citizens who reside there, who are called Rhodensi.
It is an important street and railway junction: in fact, besides being crossed by the SS 33 of the Sempione, it is served from the Milan - Turin and Milano – Laghi Highway and from a railway station from where the Milan lines are brunched out - Turin, Milan - Varese, Milan - Domodossola and Milan - Luino.
It takes about 30 minutes by car from the Linate airport to the Malpensa one. Since 1928 belong to the communal territory the hamlets of Terrazzano, Mazzo, Passirana, Lucernate and the little villages of Biringhello and Pantanedo. It confines with the district commons of Milan, Arese, Pero, Settimo Milanese, Cornaredo, Pregnana, Vanzago, Pogliano Milanese and Lainate.
