Technical description of the tracing and characteristics 

The Lombardic part of the tracing involves all the western hinterland of Milan and has a rectilinear and flat tracing and crosses Pero, Rho, Legnano, Busto Arsizio and Gallarate. Sesto Calende enters in the Piemonte's territory coasting  the south side of the lake Maggiore. Exceeded the graft with the SS32 it goes back up the right side of the lake passing through the bigger centers: Arona, Stresa and Baveno. The tracing in this drawn is flowing enough except in the nearby of the centres, where the street center endures inevitables narrowing. After Gravellona the tracing follows the course of the Toce river until Domodossola. From here, it goes back up the Val Divedro until the graft with the connection towards the mountain pass of Sempione (SS33) and the tracing. It changes in the classic one of a mountain road because of the drop of 400 meters that can be exceeded in 11 kilometers.

Date and characteristics of the traffic 

The traffic of this dumb infrastructure remarkablly along the tracing always remaining a lot supported above all in the Lombardic feature.
