Bandera foundation for the Art, legally recognized from the Lombardy Region the 17 December 1999 was born for desire of Luigi Bandera, a Busto Arsizio's entrepreneur, with the scope, like evidences the charter, to put into effect initiatives of important artistic interest and cultural, which the study activity, searches and documentation, time to the purchase, maintenance, protection or restoration of artistic assets, by means of the performance of initiatives and manifestations in the fields of the art and the collectionism.
The Foundation promotes and organizes conventions, seminaries, extensions, exposures and every kind of activity collaterals, the all finalized one to the spread of the interest towards the art, expressed in whichever shape and to scopes of didactic-promotional nature; it carries out moreover studies and searches, let alone activity of collection of the documentation, cataloguation and publication of the artistic and cultural assets above all in the local within, also with the allocation of attribution and Scholarships of Prizes.
The Foundation, accommodated in a building of industrial origin in which architectonic solutions do not lack ancestry liberty, has a structure realized with modern conceptions of museums adapted to the European norms, that it occupies a surface of beyond 3.500 meters squared, with 20 knows them expositive, one hall for conferences between the widest of the city and atmospheres reserved for you to the didactic activities.
The expositive space wants to represent a point of attraction for the Italian public without losing the valorization of the local patrimony, placing itself like place of surveying and comparison for the city.
The Foundation, that represents a cultural pole of primary importance and carries out an artistic programming of national importance with manifestations dedicated to masters consecrates and new protagonists of the artistic scene, has set up a multidisciplinary plan on more levels, having been involved also public the more young person beyond to that one of the traditional collectors and of it gets passionate of art.
They make part of the acquisition of the museum: composed the Donazione Paganini gives approximately 100 works, between sculptures, designs and recordings, realized from 1938 to the 1991 from the artist Carlo Paganini; some works of Aligi Sassu, Maurizio Henry.

Opening and timetable: from tuesday to saturday, 9.30-12.00 and 15.00-18.30, sunday, 10.00-12.30 and 15.00-19.00. Closed the monday and in the months of August and september.
