In 1468, the Conte Ugolino Crivelli the construction of the Monastery of Olivetani promoted the Olona, to the height of the citizen of Nerviano. The Crivelli were members of an ancient feudal family, with enormous property in the peasantry of Nerviano, become related with the Visconti and, then, Sforza and were always a lot important in determining the destinies of the city.

The Order of the Olivetani was been born in far away 1319, in the beautiful first half of the Tuscany, between Siena and Arezzo, in one zone then like rich today of splendid olive trees and vineyards, for work of a Saint man of Siena: Bernardo Tolomei.
